Bvlgari transformed the historic Skylight at The Refinery in New York into a dazzling showcase of innovation and timeless elegance.
The Roman Maison celebrated the launch of its new Tubogas jewelry collection with a star-studded event that captured the essence of the brand’s daring spirit and visionary approach.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic Domino Sugar Factory, the event was a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. The venue’s unique combination of industrial charm and contemporary sophistication perfectly complemented the Tubogas collection’s striking designs.
The centerpiece of the evening was, of course, the Tubogas jewelry collection itself. Crafted using a bold technique pioneered by Bvlgari in the 1940s, the new designs are characterized by their signature enveloping lines and fluid movements. The collection was unveiled within the Bvlgari Studio, a multidisciplinary platform that serves as a hub for co-creation and experimentation.
Guests were welcomed by Bvlgari Deputy CEO Laura Burdese and Bvlgari President of North America Hervé Perrot. A star-studded crowd, including Naomi Campbell, Dakota Johnson, Damson Idris, and Olivia Culpo, gathered to celebrate the launch. The evening featured performances by futuristic musician Masego and light artist Christopher Bauder, creating a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere.
Throughout the event, guests were immersed in a narrative path that traced the evolution of Tubogas from a flexible gold stripe to an iconic jewelry collection. The collection’s signature lines and fluid movements, achieved without any soldering, were highlighted by an evocative set-up and enhanced through the digital campaign of Antoni Tudisco, one of the multidisciplinary artists who joined the Bvlgari Studio platform.
The evening was a celebration of the endless sense of movement and tactile suppleness that underlies the Tubogas jewelry collection. A kinetic light sculpture by Christopher Bauder, titled “THE WAVE,” transformed the gold spirals of Tubogas into a boundary-pushing visual experience. The sculpture’s calm yet dynamic rhythm evolved in perfect sync with a dance performance by Isabella Boylston, a principal ballerina and Friend of the House.
Masego’s musical soundtrack provided a hypnotic union of movement, light, and sound. The Jamaican-American vocalist,multi-instrumentalist, and producer, known for his blend of Soul, R&B, and Jazz, captivated the audience with his unique performance.
The event was a testament to Bvlgari’s commitment to innovation and experimentation. The Tubogas jewelry collection, born from the drive to create something surprisingly new, perfectly embodies the spirit of the Bvlgari Studio.
