Several UAE flights to Pakistan have been cancelled due to airspace restrictions and ongoing disruptions

Several flights between the UAE and Pakistan have been cancelled or rerouted following airspace restrictions, affecting both business and leisure travellers.

Passengers are advised to stay updated with their airlines for the latest information.

Several flights from the UAE to Pakistan have been cancelled in recent days due to airspace restrictions.

These disruptions come after a series of cross-border events between India and Pakistan. Etihad Airways confirmed that flights to and from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad were cancelled on Wednesday, following the return of three flights to Abu Dhabi the day before.

In a statement, the UAE’s national carrier mentioned that some flights might be rerouted to avoid restricted zones, which could potentially result in longer flight times for passengers.

Similarly, Emirates Airline announced that flights to and from Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar were also cancelled for a second consecutive day on Wednesday.

The airline further noted that passengers connecting to these destinations would also face disruptions, with the situation remaining uncertain until further notice.

Both Etihad Airways and Emirates advised passengers to regularly check with their airlines for the latest flight updates and notifications.

In addition, Qatar Airways has also suspended services to Pakistan, citing the closure of airspace. This suspension is expected to impact travel to and from multiple destinations in the country.

The situation remains fluid, and travellers are urged to plan accordingly and remain in close contact with their respective airlines for any changes to their flight schedules.
