UAE private sector employees enjoy two-hour reduction, flexible and remote work options during Ramadan 2025
The UAE government has confirmed that private sector employees will enjoy reduced working hours during Ramadan 2025.
According to the latest circular issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), private sector staff will work two hours less each day throughout the holy month.
The Ministry announces a reduction of 2 working hours per day for private sector employees during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

This follows a recent announcement on the reduction of hours during Ramadan for public sector employees.
The announcement follows recent changes introduced for federal entities and now extends to the entire UAE private sector.
