With a seismic shift in the work environment over the last couple of years due to the pandemic, most companies in the UAE navigated the changes accordingly.
Now, in a post-pandemic world, the top companies to work for in the UAE in 2022 have been revealed by LinkedIn.
In a recent report published by the business social media platform, key criteria was analysed to determine the top-ranking companies. This included the ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and spread of educational backgrounds.
According to the research, the number one company to work for in 2022 is luxury group Chalhoub, the parent company of Level Shoes, Faces, Tryano and more.
Lynn Chouman, senior news editor at LinkedIn said, “Seeing new rankers make up 80 per cent of the list for 2022 is an indication of how significant a single year can be in reinvigorating business cultures as the world of work continues to evolve.”
To be eligible for this list, a company must have at least 500 employees as of December 31, 2021, and the attrition rate can be no higher than 10 per cent, according to the world’s largest professional network.
Among other companies that featured in the list, investment management firm Mubadala ranked second and other notable brands such as Mediclinic and HSBC ranked third and fourth respectively.

Last year, Dubai and Abu Dhabi were both put on the global map as they ranked in the top five best cities in the world to work in, in a survey conducted by Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Even during COVID-19, both cities managed to receive high ranking positions, ensuring their workplace landscape is recognised internationally.
